WHAT ARE THE COMPONENTS OF A FLAT MACHINE?
Sections Comprising the Flat Machine
Run flats, used in military units, law enforcement, armies, and many other fields, are rubber products fitted between the rim and the tire. These products, attached to the sidewall of tires, function in situations like tire blowout or puncture, allowing the vehicle to travel an additional 80-100 kilometers. Machines composed of 4 parts, including the winch system, safety system, placement unit, and hydraulic system, can be accessed via this system. Known as non-puncture tires, these products eliminate the need for a spare tire. Special machines are required for these products to operate in cases of tire detachment, blowout, or damage. Run flat installation and removal machines enable operations to be carried out much faster, especially in many vehicles including 4x4, 6x6, and 8x8 armored vehicles.
User Safety is Important
These products, consisting of a run flat removal pusher, a rim removal system, and a control unit, are highly functional. The run flat removal pusher, one of the components forming the run flat machine, comprises two jaws, a pusher, and a pulling mechanism. This part operates with a hydraulic piston and cylinder system. The openable and closable run flat removal pusher allows the material to be attached to and removed from the tire. The rim removal system operates separately from the removal pusher. In this process, which allows the wheel rim on the product to be removed and attached, the segmented parts of the rim are safely removed. In this section where the rim separates from the tire, the run flat remains inside the tire. All flat machine mechanisms are operated by the control unit. This system, operating with a 24-volt DC current for user safety, is highly ergonomic. The winch system allows the tire to be lowered and raised. The safety system prevents potential problems with emergency stop sections. Safety panels, usually located on the right and rear sections of the workbench, do not conduct electricity due to their static paint coating. The placement unit is the section where the run flat is placed onto the tire.
