What Does Crying in a Dream Mean?
What is a Dream?
Sleep is a great resource that every body needs to rest, and during sleep, all organs begin to rest by working more slowly. However, the brain continues to operate actively, and these activities manifest as dreams. In our religion, there are many verses about dreams, and it is stated that good dreams are promising dreams, and bad dreams are demonic dreams (that is, a trick of the devil). Sigmund Freud, one of the most famous philosophers in history, whose works are still considered the most valuable resource today, is among those who have conducted the deepest research on dreams, and he explained that dreams are formed from the desires and wishes that individuals have repressed into their subconscious.
What Does Crying in a Dream Mean?
Despite all the research done to understand the human brain, there is still much information that has not been discovered. The starting point of a dream is the brainstem. A dream that begins in the brainstem is then followed by the brain working at great speed, and according to neurologists, the purpose of dreaming is for the brain to write the information experienced and newly learned during the day into memory. Studies have revealed that people who do not dream have much worse memory, while at the same time proving that people who dream, sleep regularly, and whose sleep is never interrupted have stronger memories. Thus, dreaming may indeed be a phenomenon that occurs during the memory writing process. Although scientific explanations have been provided, dream interpretations have been made since ancient Egyptian history. Crying in a dream, which is among the most common dreams, is interpreted as the person will relax, be freed from their sins, and experience great joy in a short time.
